Client Reviews
"When we lost our Peke LiLiSu to a sudden stroke, we realized how much of a void he left behind. His clownish antics, his bossy manner, his expansive personality were sorely missed. And so we began to search for a successor, even though we worried another Peke would never fill the big paws our first left behind. ~ Jonathan Leech & Benedict Valdez
"We lost our beloved black & white 4 yr old male Pekingese, D'Artagnan,
suddenly on Jan. 30, 2010 to undiagnosed heart failure. D'Art was the best
little companion either my husband, Michael, or myself had ever had. We were
heartsick. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to find Anita Riley, breeder of
the beautiful Empress Pekingese dogs. Anita has graced our lives with a
darling little lady of 8 years of age, Cherie Noel. ~ Michael & Darlene Tietge
"I have had Pekes in my life literally since my birth, and I am now over 60.
Many breeders have passed through my life in that time . . . none have been as
knowledgeable and helpful as Anita. My husband and I have 2 of her outstandingly
beautiful girls . . . they gather crowds wherever we go, and they are our pride
and joy. For the past 5 years, Anita has been easily available to assist and
direct us, and to share our love and joy of Dragon's Girls. She is one in a
million." ~ Skeeter & Marylin Ritter
"I was pretty sure Haley would be great because in our correspondence I saw
how much Anita cared about her Pekies that they must have gotten the best of
care from her. Seemed to me she was so concerned that I would provide a good
home for Haley, the money didn't matter that much to her, it seemed just that
Haley would get the best of care. I am so glad that I got my girl from Anita.
And I knew she was a good breeder, that she cared so much for her little ones." ~ Margot (Haley's Mommy)
"Empress Pekingese and especially the person behind it -- Anita Riley --
must have some extraordinary foundation stock as we are very pleased with our
puppy. He is a confident little guy who bespeaks of the care he received in
those formative months of early puppyhood. Anita was attentive to responding
to our questions or concerns and did not misrepresent our wonderful Huggy Bear
... he is all we could hope for and more!" ~ Mary and Dennis Jay
"Hi there from Sassy's new parents. It's hard to believe almost 5 years have
gone by and our little girl is almost 10!!!! She is the light of our world and
the most loving person we know. She purrs constantly and is a very happy little
girl and in excellent health. We love her dearly and thank you so much." ~ Vickey Childers
"Three years ago, we found out that Sushi, our 14 year old Pekingese, only had
a few months to live. We decided to get another dog while she was still alive to
ease the transition. We found Anita on the web and were delighted she was a local
breeder right here in Hot Springs. After meeting with us, she promised us a female
out of a litter to be born the next month. Unfortunately there were only males.
Seeing our disappointment, she called several of her breeder contacts and found
us a rare and beautiful little sleeve female out of Oaklahoma called Allie
(see sleeve tab). We renamed her Jazzy. Anita is not only a very conciencious
breeder but she also became a friend. She even groomes and babysits Jazzy
periodically. It is without reservation that we recommend Anita and Empress
Pekingese." ~ Dr. Robert & Edwena Lassonde лл Back |
